About the Job:

For the 2025/26 logging season 4EG is searching for and invites qualified and experienced log haulers/truck drivers who will be responsible for all facets of primarily the transportation and delivery of logs to mills.

In this role you will:

    • Ensure timely, efficient and least cost logging transportation.

    • Adhere to regulatory and safety standards & maintaining logs and safety records.

    • Promote cost-effectiveness and sustainability in operations.

    • Maintain truck and equipment in excellent condition.

    • Maintain timely communication and reporting, as required by 4EG.

    • Respectfully comply with all 4EG policies, and safe work practices.

This role reports to the Facility and Logistic Lead, working closely with the Field Supervisors and Project Managers. Preference will be given to applicants of Aboriginal Ancestry, prior 4EG employees and residents to the 4EG operating areas.

Qualifications:

    • Possess a current valid Class 1 licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience in the construction/logging industry or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    • Current valid safety certificates an asset (OFA Level 1 minimum, WHMIS 2015, TDG, Oilfield Driver Awareness, Construction Safety Training Systems, Pipeline Construction Safety Training and S-100 (Fire Suppression).

    • Must supply, maintain and be knowledgeable in the use of their own required and approved safety gear and personal protective equipment (PPE), appropriate clothing and tools, equipment and supplies.

    • Must be physically capable of working in all types of weather, including climbing ladders and manipulating hoses.

    • Submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol (D&A) testing.

    • Provide a current Driver’s Abstract.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation is paid inline with established industry standards of % of tonnage delivered basis and Company Benefits.
