In our projects, we provide top-tier equipment to our project teams – and our internal Facility and Asset Group provides maintenance and repair services. 4EG is committed to excellence and is seeking an experienced and qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team.

Currently we are inviting applications from enthusiastic, positive and experienced ticketed applicants to join our team. Though shifts patterns may change work week is typically Monday to Friday, 50hrs a week. Location will primarily be the 4EG Shop or Field Locations.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy-duty equipment such as trucks, loaders, excavators, and other machinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, supporting our operations across multiple industries.

Wage Range:

$37-$50 hourly depending on qualifications and experience

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy-duty equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Overhaul and rebuild engines, transmissions, and other major
• Operate diagnostic tools and equipment to identify
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality
• Maintain accurate service records and
• Adhere to company safety procedures and industry
• Coach and mentor

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification or Red Seal
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and
• Strong problem-solving and organizational
• Ability to work independently and as part of a
• Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 preferred).
